Vice President Operations (Dairy Manufacturing)

Overview:We are seeking an experienced VP of Operations to lead and scale end-to-end manufacturing operations for a growing dairy production business. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring product quality and safety, optimizing supply chain performance, and delivering against cost and efficiency targets.Key Responsibilities:Oversee all plant operations including production, processing, packaging, maintenance, and distributionDrive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma) to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve marginsEnsure compliance with all food safety, quality, and regulatory standards (FDA, USDA, HACCP, SQF)Lead and develop plant leadership teams; build a high-performance, safety-first cultureManage P&L for operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost controlPartner cross-functionally with supply chain, quality, R&D, and commercial teams to meet customer demand and innovation goalsImplement and scale systems, processes, and KPIs to support growthOversee capital projects, capacity planning, and facility expansionsQualifications:10–15+ years of operations leadership experience in food or dairy manufacturingProven track record managing large-scale production facilities and multi-site operations preferredStrong knowledge of food safety and regulatory compliance standards
