Details Float pool position requiring willingness to float between Med/Surg, Med/Surg Telemetry, Transitional Care, and Emergency Services departments Floating is required across four facilities in the Tucson, AZ area Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week 6 weekend shifts required per 6-week schedule Patient ratio of 6:1 Cerner EMR experience is required 13-week contract Requirements Active AZ RN license or compact RN license currently in hand Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of start) Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience Cerner EMR experience required Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Valid driver's license required for consideration Additional Information Responsible for providing patient care using the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies, including critical thinking, clinical judgment, and delegation of care priorities Maintains clinical competencies through continuing education and provides direction and supervision to assigned personnel Any scrub color is acceptable RTO requests must be less than one week in duration Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position American Traveler Job ID P-686855.
