This is an on-site position that comes with flexibility with the schedule, , and you can choose the hours that fits your own needs. We can offer weekday and weekend hours. Whether you are a new graduate or experienced therapist, you will get to work closely with a dedicated and veteran therapy team! Job Description: The Physical Therapist Assistant provides a medically prescribed physical therapy plan of care under the supervision of a physical therapist. After the physical therapist has completed the initial evaluation, established functional goals and developed an individualized plan of care, the physical therapist assistant provides instruction and rehabilitation of acute and prolonged dysfunction or pain with an emphasis on movement; therapeutic application of physical agents; exercise and other procedures to maximize functional independence. The physical therapist assistant functions as a member of the rehabilitation team; participates in in-service training; quality improvement initiatives; documentation; billing; ordering equipment and supplies; and other requested duties.
