*Assembler 1st Shift* *Austin TX* *Contract to Hire - 1st Shift, 4/40* *Hours: 6am - 4:30pm, Mon-Thurs* *Pay Rate: $27.00/Hr.* *Benefits: overtime, medical, dental, vision, 401k* *REQUIREMENTS: * *Assembler 1st Shift* * US Citizenship * High School Diploma or GED and 2+ years work experience or equivalent experience * Ability to read and interpret work instructions and drawings. * Ability to become solder certified * Effective communication and team work * Computer literacy, and familiarity with Microsoft suit of products (Excel, Word, Outlook) * Strong work ethic, and a desire to be part of a successful working team * A passion for learning/knowledge, *JOB DESCRIPTION: Assembler 1st Shift* * Assembles, disassembles, and modifies various production subassemblies by following work plans. Inspects results to ensure conformance. * Strong attention to detail and accuracy. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. * Basic computer skills, including using software for MRP and data collection. * Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing environments. *SKILLS PREFERRED: Assembler 1st Shift* * Experienced in Electronic Assembly 3+ years * IPC-610/620 Certifications * Knowledge of MIL-STD-883 Methods 2021 and 2017 * Solder Reflow experience #ECL Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour Benefits: * 401(k) * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Vision insurance Application Question(s): * Are you a U.S. Citizen? * How many years of electronic assembly experience do you have? * How many years of hands-on soldering or solder reflow experience do you have? * Do you have experience reading and interpreting work instructions, assembly drawings, or similar technical documentation? * Do you currently hold, or have you previously held, an IPC-A-610 and/or IPC/WHMA-A-620 certification?
