The ideal candidate will have strong experience in U.S. import regulations, customs compliance, and trade documentation, with a proven ability to manage complex import processes accurately and efficiently.This role requires a hands-on professional with deep knowledge of U.S. Customs procedures, tariff classification, and trade agreements.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform HTS classification for imported goods with high accuracyEnsure compliance with U.S. Customs regulations and proceduresHandle U.S. Customs entry writing and related documentationManage and validate USMCA certifications and qualificationsOversee in-bond transportation processesSupport operations related to Foreign Trade Zones (FTZ) and Bonded WarehousesEnsure accurate Partner Government Agency (PGA) reportingReview and audit import documentation for compliance risksCollaborate with internal teams, brokers, and external partnersUtilize internal systems and tools for compliance tracking and reportingAnalyze data and generate reports using Microsoft ExcelRequired QualificationsMinimum 5+ years of recent experience (2022–present) in U.S. import trade complianceStrong expertise in HTS classificationProven experience with USMCA regulations and certificationsIn-depth knowledge of U.S. Customs proceduresHands-on experience with customs entry writingExperience with in-bond shipments, FTZ, and bonded warehouse operationsFamiliarity with PGA reporting requirementsAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office SuiteAbility to quickly learn new systems and toolsStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skills in EnglishPreferred QualificationsExperience with trade compliance software (e.g., SAP GTS, Oracle GTM)Data analytics experienceSpanish language proficiency
