Tool Design Engineer

Role - Tool Design Engineer Location - Longview, TX (Onsite) Duration - Fulltime Job Description & Skill Requirement 5-7 years of Tooling/equipment design experience utilizing SolidWorks or Creo. Ability to design all aspect of equipment including surfaces used in both tooling and fixture design. Design & Implement tooling. Assembly process planning. Material handling equipment design. Creating & updating standard operating procedures, CN and DOU the process. Develop manufacturing process flow and with reduce cost. Lean implementation. Time and motion study then line balancing. Racking system design for material stack up. Validation of Racks and cart based on the load capacity. Designing of cart and special purpose material handling devices. Designing of Templates and special purpose tools for productivity improvements. Quality checking gauges. BOM & ROUTING. Material flow and standardization process support. Daily follow up with projects and interaction with customer. Vendor engagement for project requirements. Supporting to continuous improvement process.
