Custodian Worker

We are looking for a responsible custodian to help maintain and protect our facilities. It is important for a custodian, or janitor, to be careful and thorough in working, cleaning and tidying the premises, as well as preventing vandalism. The ideal candidate will be experienced in a custodian role focused on building upkeep. A keen eye for detail and diligence are imperative in custodial maintenance jobs. Responsibilities Ensure spaces are prepared for the next day by taking out trash, tidying furniture and dusting surfaces Sweep and mop floors and vacuum carpets/floors Wash and sanitize toilets and sinks and restock disposables Wipe mirrors and windows Secure facilities after operating hours by locking doors and closing windows. Working hours: 12:00pm - 4:00pm Mon-Fri Skills Experience as custodian, janitor or in a similar role Attention to detail and conscientiousness Good physical condition and strength High school diploma is preferred Job Type: Part-time Pay: $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 20 per week Benefits: Employee assistance program Flexible spending account Physical Setting: Office Private school Religious school Schedule: Monday to Friday Work Location: In person
