The intern will also provide secondary support to public relations activities, including media monitoring, media list development, and drafting support.This is a hands-on opportunity for an organized, detail-oriented individual who is interested in building experience in corporate social media and external communications within a fast-paced, global organization. The successful candidate will work closely with the External Communications team and cross-functional partners, including Content, Creative, Events, Growth Marketing, and Product Marketing to support timely and effective execution of major company moments, announcements, and campaigns.What you'll get to do:Social media support — primary focusSupport day-to-day social media operations across corporate channels, including content scheduling, publishing coordination, and calendar maintenanceMonitor social media channels for engagement, brand mentions, audience activity, and relevant trendsAssist with scheduling and publishing content through Sprout Social and related social media management toolsCoordinate with Creative and Marketing teams to help ensure required assets, copy, and approvals are delivered on timeSubmit and track Smartsheet requests related to social media content and creative needsHelp maintain social content calendars and ensure posts align with campaign timelines, corporate priorities, and key announcementsSupport social media execution for Dayforce Discover, product announcements, thought leadership, and global report activityAssist with basic social media reporting, including tracking post activity, engagement, and performance highlightsPublic relations support — secondary focusAssist with drafting media briefs, briefing documents, and supporting PR materialsBuild, update, and maintain targeted media listsMonitor for news coverage related to Dayforce, competitors, industry trends, and key announcementsSupport tracking and reporting of media coverage and PR activityTeam and operational supportProvide administrative and coordination support to the broader External Communications teamHelp manage timelines, deliverables, and follow-ups during peak campaign periodsCollaborate with internal stakeholders across Communications, Creative, Marketing, and PRSupport overall team organization, responsiveness, and execution qualitySkills and experience we value:Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, Business, or a related fieldStrong written and verbal communication skillsHigh attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-throughStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlinesInterest in corporate social media, external communications, marketing, or public relationsFamiliarity with major social media platforms, including LinkedIn, X, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTubeFamiliarity with Sprout Social or similar social media management platformsComfort working with content calendars, scheduling tools, and approval workflowsAbility to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a professional environmentWillingness to learn, take direction, and contribute in a fast-paced settingWhat's in it for youDayforce is fueled by the diversity of our talented employees.
