Accounting Clerk

Our client in Holyoke, MA is looking for an organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join their team on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a collaborative and professional environment.Key Responsibilities:Perform data entry and process accounts payable and receivable transactionsReconcile bank statements and assist with account reconciliationsSupport month-end and year-end closing processesPrepare, maintain, and file accounting documents and recordsCommunicate with vendors and internal teams to resolve any discrepanciesAssist with other administrative accounting tasks as neededPrevious experience as an Accounting Clerk or in a related accounting/finance support roleWorking knowledge of accounting principles and practicesProficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with accounting software a plusStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlinesRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
