Required Skills/Knowledge:
Configure band saws using mechanical drawings, cut lists or blueprints
Measure, mark and align materials before cutting to optimize usage and prevent waste
Inspect finished cuts using measuring tools like calipers, micrometers and tape measures
Perform routine machine checks, change blades and apply lubrication
Operate overhead crane to transport material and unload material from trucks
Skilled to operate forklift to transport material and unload material from trucks
Ability to work with all areas in the manufacturing process
Shift: 2nd (3:00-11:15) / OT when available – Not Mandatory
Additional Skills Preferred:
1–2 years of experience working with industrial machinery or cutting equipment in a machine shop or warehouse
Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments
Comfort lifting up to 50lbs. and standing for long periods
