Nurse Practitioner | Surgery - Orthopedic Location: Ohio Employer: Barton Associates Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position Our client in Ohio is seeking an Orthopedics Nurse Practitioner for a 24-day assignment starting Apr 27, 2026. This role involves working Tuesdays and Thursdays with a possible Friday shift from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, focusing on fracture evaluation and management, acute and chronic pain assessment, joint injections, and medication management for orthopedic or sports medicine injuries. Responsibilities and Duties Fracture evaluation and management Evaluation of acute and chronic pain related to orthopedic and sports medicine injuries or conditions Performing large and small joint injections and aspirations Medication prescriptions and management Seeing new and established non-emergent acute fracture care patients Administering cortisone joint injections and ViscoSupplementation injections Conducting acute and chronic pain evaluations in Orthopedic/Sports Medicine Please note: Our office does not see spine-related issues.
