Mid-Level Network EngineerLocation: Manchester, NH (On-site as needed/requested)Position OverviewPCI Pharma is seeking a Mid-Level Network Engineer to support and enhance its enterprise network infrastructure. This individual will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining network solutions across a growing environment, with a strong focus on wireless, security, and routing technologies.This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who can independently lead technical initiatives while also supporting day-to-day operations and troubleshooting.Key ResponsibilitiesLead network-related projects from concept through execution with minimal supervisionConfigure, manage, and support Cisco wireless environments, including: Catalyst 9800 Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC)Access point deployment and wireless policy configurationAdminister and secure network firewalls, including: Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD)Firepower Management Center (FMC)Support identity and security platforms, including: Cisco ISE (Identity Services Engine)Cisco Umbrella for DNS/web securityDesign, implement, and maintain switching and routing infrastructure Support dynamic routing protocols such as OSPF and BGPPerform advanced network troubleshooting and root cause analysis across complex environmentsInstall, rack, and configure network hardware including switches, access points, and related infrastructureCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network reliability, performance, and scalabilityRequired Skills & Experience4–7+ years of hands-on network engineering experienceStrong experience with Cisco networking technologiesProven experience working with: Cisco Catalyst 9800 WLCCisco Firepower (FTD & FMC)Cisco ISE and/or UmbrellaDeep understanding of: Switching and routing conceptsProtocols such as OSPF and BGPDemonstrated ability to own and lead projects independentlyStrong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues quicklyExperience working in on-site environments and supporting physical network infrastructureAbility to rack, stack, and deploy network equipmentNice-to-Have SkillsExperience in pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or regulated environmentsExposure to global or multi-site network environmentsFamiliarity with network monitoring and performance toolsExperience supporting large-scale wireless deploymentsKnowledge of security best practices and network hardeningCisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP, etc.)
