Midland Memorial Hospital is seeking an experienced OR RN** Brief Job Description: Be responsible for the perioperative nursing care for pediatric, adolescent, adult surgical and geriatric patients. Provide care through the use of the nursing process and in a manner that is cost effective without compromising quality of care as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room (RN OR). Perform as a perioperative nurse the assessments, planning, and implementation of nursing intervention and evaluation. Required to demonstrate competency to circulate for simple to complex surgical procedures and as a perioperative nurse for all age groups. Experience in scrubbing into procedures will be utilized. Expected to have knowledge of surgical procedures and have the ability to oversee the instrument(s) and equipment set-up, for the case utilizing preference cards, and anticipates needs of the surgeon.Requirements: Must have current State of Texas RN license, American Heart Association (AHA) BLS, ACLS, NIHSS are all also required. (2) Two years of Operating Room experience is required. **Experienced and strong in Orthopedics, General, Endo Vascular, and Neuro.Housing is no longer provided.
