API Testing Lead Engineer One of our largest retail clients is looking for an API Testing Lead Engineer. (FULLY REMOTE)Job Responsibilities: To analyze and understand the Application Under Test (AUT) in the context of object identification.Work in an agile environmentEstablish an efficient automation frameworkBuild and maintain test automation suiteTo generate and modify test cases/scripts using Web Driver methods, element locators, TestNG Annotations, and Java.Create and verify Web services API requests, SOAP Protocols.To ensure error handling, adding comments, parallel test execution, create data-driven tests & execute them through the framework.To analyze test results and reporting defects.To track defects & select test cases for retesting and regression testing.To enhance test automation resources and maintenance of resourcesCommunicate progress and issues through regular Status ReportsCollaborate with Business/ Application teams to improve process and S/W QualityRequired Qualifications: Must have retail experience.Must have experience in API (RestAPI)Must have QE experience (6-8 years)Must have experience in API automation framework.Must have Lead experience and should have worked on Agile teamsClarity in communication.Required Skills: Lead Role- will be responsible for taking care of all production aspects of QE team.
