DescriptionPosition SummaryThe Sr Director Facilities & Infrastructure is responsible for managing and advising on facilities optimization and key projects that positively impact the company financial position and growth potential. This individual is a key contributor of the leadership team who will collaborate across functions to set strategic initiatives for successful execution and growth for the organization. Salary commensurate with experience. This position is located in Houston, TX and reports to the CEO.Pilot Water Solutions (“PWS”) is the most reliable name in water midstream. With strategically located assets in the core of its basins, Pilot Water Solutions is positioned to meet the needs of its customers with best-in-class service and reliability.Essential Job DutiesOversees and coordinates engineering analysis and activities for facilities and infrastructure.Proactively find innovative solutions to optimize systems and project scopes.Collaborates with engineering team, including planning, and D&C to ensure scope, budgets and risk factors are well planned for execution.Manages necessary AFEs for focused areas.Participates in and may lead knowledge and/or technical development opportunities for staffLeads and adhered to regulatory and compliance requirements for existing and future projects, including permitting and safety regulations.Maintains knowledge of industry activities. changes, and trends and ensures the leadership team is kept informed of such developments and the potential impact on the businessAdheres and leads by example on Company policies and procedures, including but not limited to KPA, JSAs, Training, Incident Reports, and Safety Observations.Participates, reviews and approves assigned procurement process inclusive of PO and invoices for accuracy on a timely manner.Supervises / mentors engineering staff and engages in chance management initiatives.Participates in performance management, hiring, development and disciplinary processesParticipates in other assigned duties and projects based on business needsThis job description is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of duties and responsibilities of the position. Incumbents will be expected to follow other job-related duties outside of their normal responsibilities as assigned by their supervisor based on business needs.Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Petroleum, Mechanical or comparable15 years of oil and gas experience in upstream or midstream sectorsHydraulic modeling – any software, strong excel skills.Strong knowledge about oilfield water pipelines and SWD facilities.Experience in production/facilities engineering.Knowledge of navigating SCADA system and different data platforms.Experience in leading and managing field operations at a midstream company or responsibility in leading regional operations for a larger oil and gas companyDemonstrated ability to influence and manage large field-focused and office-based teamsFamiliarity with the operational requirements of a wide variety of oilfield specific equipmentProven, key contribution in a rapid growth company environmentExcellent, proactive, and eloquent communication skills in combination with a personal demeanor, and collegial approach to business mattersProfessional, tactful, and discrete when handling sensitive and confidential information.Proactive problem-solver with strong critical and analytic skillsStrong organization, planning and time-management skills for multiple prioritiesAdvanced in Microsoft Office Products: Word, Excel and Power PointMust have a valid driver's license and be deemed insurable by the Company's insurance providerAble to travel as neededPreferred QualificationsWater midstream experienceSupervisory experience with broad business scopeKnowledge of type curves and reservoir engineering.Physical Requirements & Working ConditionsMust be able to sit for extended periods of time at a desk and working on a computerMust be able to lift up to 15 poundsStandard office environment.Office environment with ability to visit field sites in which may be exposed to loud noises, occupational hazards, and/or other outdoor elements.Equipment UsedComputer/laptopDesk phone and mobile phoneMulti-purpose copier/printerStandard office suppliesEOE Statement We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
