In June 2022, Main Event joined the Dave & Buster’s family of brands, providing team members with added stability and growth opportunities within a larger entertainment company.Role Description The Server is a full-time, on-site role located at the Main Event center in Beaumont, TX. In this role, the Server greets guests promptly, presents menus, takes food and beverage orders accurately, and delivers items in a timely and friendly manner. The Server ensures tables and service areas are clean, properly set, and stocked, while checking in with guests to anticipate needs and resolve concerns. Day-to-day responsibilities include processing payments, handling cash or card transactions, following safety and sanitation standards, and coordinating with kitchen and bar staff to ensure a smooth guest experience. Servers also support company promotions and events, contribute to a fun and engaging atmosphere, and may assist with side work such as restocking, polishing glassware, and preparing stations.Qualifications Strong guest service and hospitality skills, including a friendly demeanor, active listening, and a focus on creating positive experiences.Effective communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with kitchen, bar, and event staff in a fast-paced environment.Basic math and cash-handling abilities, with attention to detail when entering orders and processing payments.Ability to stand, walk, carry trays, and move quickly for extended periods, and to follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.Previous restaurant or entertainment venue serving experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training may be provided.Reliable attendance, flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, and a professional, guest-focused attitude.Minimum age requirement in accordance with local laws for serving alcoholic beverages, and ability to obtain any required food or alcohol service certifications.
