Hoist Sales Representative

Our Hoist Sales Division delivers construction hoist and man-lift solutions that keep projects moving safely and efficiently. We are seeking a driven, relationship-focused Hoist Sales Representative to grow market presence, develop customer partnerships, and manage construction hoist projects throughout Texas and surrounding states. This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional who understands the construction industry, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can balance business development, estimating, and project execution. Job Overview The Hoist Sales Representative is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing customer relationships, preparing project estimates and proposals, negotiating contracts, and managing construction hoist projects within an assigned territory. This position serves as a key point of contact for customers throughout the full project lifecycle, from prospecting and estimating through project execution and billing. Responsibilities Develop and expand relationships with general contractors, subcontractors, and construction industry decision-makers throughout the assigned territory Identify and pursue new construction projects and business opportunities Review construction drawings and project specifications to develop accurate estimates and proposals Prepare and deliver professional presentations, bids, and pricing packages Sell operated and maintained construction hoist services, as well as bare rental solutions Manage assigned projects to ensure customer satisfaction, operational execution, and profitability Maintain consistent communication with leadership regarding pipeline activity, forecasts, and sales performance Support new and existing customer accounts with responsive service and issue resolution Achieve established revenue and profitability targets for the territory Maintain working knowledge of applicable construction hoist regulations, safety requirements, and compliance standards Requirements Minimum 2 to 3 years of sales experience required Minimum 2 years of experience in construction, crane, heavy equipment, or related industrial industries preferred Strong understanding of construction project environments and customer expectations Proven ability to build relationships and close business Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel College degree preferred Benefits Competitive pay and a matching 401(k) plan Vacation, Company Holidays, and Sick Days Flexible spending accounts/Health Savings Account Reimbursement plan for the company Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) Policy Why Bigge At Bigge, performance, safety, and accountability drive everything we do.
