Find your future with us.Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Production Asset Engineer to join our Tool Engineering team based in Portland, OR.  This position will design, analyze and modify aerospace machine fixtures and tools that meet manufacturing requirements. Join Boeing Production Engineering in building our next generation of amazing products. They will also have a strong desire to be out in the factory, interacting with mechanics, tool makers and directly supporting the production system. Primary Responsibilities:Supports the evaluation of program and project requirements, develops moderately complex equipment and tooling concepts and designs solutions for the Production System.Compiles and analyzes technical data to determine the effects on product engineering design and rate estimates for equipment and tooling.Ensures compliance with safety, producibility, maintainability, reliability, ergonomic factors and regulatory requirements.Validates contractual performance milestones, maintains configuration control, conducts reviews, prepares plans for productions readiness, preventative maintenance, and spares.Conducts training for Production and Maintenance personnel.Develops and implements moderately complex work-arounds and maintains configuration of hardware, software and documentation. Supports studies for disposition of assets.Work in a cross-functional team alongside specialists from manufacturing, quality, safety, post-production services, product development, suppliers, and vendors.Work Authorization Statement:The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R.120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
