This allows us to maintain a high level of quality, consistency, and accountability throughout the entire process.As a growing, family-owned company based in North Phoenix, we are committed to building a team of high-performing, accountable individuals who take pride in their work and contribute to a culture of excellence.Position OverviewThe Estimating Coordinator supports and learns the estimating process from the ground up, with a clear path to becoming a full estimator.This role involves reading and interpreting architectural plans, including elevations, sections, and door types, then breaking down project scope, identifying missing information, and supporting the development of accurate estimates.This is not automated work—it requires focus, analysis, and decision-making.ResponsibilitiesReview architectural plans and project documentsRead and interpret elevations and sections within architectural drawingsAssist with takeoffs for doors, frames, and related materialsBreak down project scope into clear, organized componentsIdentify missing or unclear information and follow upCoordinate with vendors for pricing and detailsSupport proposal preparationOrganize and track estimate dataCommunicate with internal team members (PMs, shop, operations)Continuously learn and improve within the estimating processWhat We’re Looking ForStrong analytical and critical thinking abilityHigh attention to detailProactive—does not wait for directionComfortable asking questions and digging for answersOrganized and able to manage multiple tasksClear communicatorExperienceAbility to read and interpret architectural plans, elevations, and sections is requiredExperience with takeoffs, scope review, or construction document analysis strongly preferredExposure to millwork, doors, frames, or related construction scopes is a plusStrong proficiency in Microsoft Excel requiredExperience with Bluebeam Revu, AutoCAD, or similar tools is preferredDemonstrated ability to analyze detailed information and identify missing or incomplete scopeComfortable working in an Apple-based environment (Mac, iPad, iPhone)Familiarity with tools such as GoodNotes and Microsoft SharePoint is preferredCompensationHourly position: $24 – $30 per hour, depending on experienceFull-time, in-office roleClear path to advancement into a salaried estimator position with increased compensation based on performanceBenefitsMedical, Dental, Vision, Life, Pet Discount ProgramPaid time off + holidaysCompany-provided tools (computer, iPad, iPhone etc.)Growth OpportunityThis role is designed to develop into a full estimator position for someone who demonstrates strong thinking, ownership, and attention to detail.
