Commercial Construction Project Engineer

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Commercial Construction Project Engineer to join one of our top clients-a highly respected and well-established General Contractor. This Commercial Construction Project Engineer will play a critical role in supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. Working closely with the Project Manager, Superintendent, and trade partners, the Commercial Construction Project Engineer helps ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.ResponsibilitiesSupport the Project Manager and Superintendent with daily project coordination and documentationReview drawings, specifications, submittals, and shop drawings for complianceTrack RFIs, submittals, change orders, and material deliveriesAssist with schedule updates, progress reporting, and meeting minutesCoordinate with subcontractors and vendors to resolve field issuesSupport cost control by reviewing invoices and budget updatesHelp maintain safety, quality, and efficiency on-siteParticipate in owner, architect, and stakeholder meetings as a Commercial Construction Project EngineerQualificationsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred1-3 years of commercial construction experience (Project Engineer or similar role)Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skillsProficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar toolsWhy Join UsAs a Commercial Construction Project Engineer, you'll gain hands-on exposure to a wide range of commercial projects including tenant improvements, retail, office, and institutional work.
