As a Staffing Coordinator, you will be responsible for completing schedules, interacting with employees to cover daily staffing requirements, and preparing daily nursing hours reports. As a Central Supply, you will be responsible for receiving and following instructions from your supervisor, ensuring all purchase orders are properly prepared, and assisting in preparing correspondence and claims.Responsibilities:Staffing Coordinator:Completes schedules for the Nursing StaffCompletes daily staffing sheetsInteracts with employees to cover daily staffing requirementsSecures coverage for vacant shifts, open positions, vacations, as dictated by Director of NursingPrepares and completes daily nursing hours report for Executive Director/LNHACalculate nursing hours daily to meet PPD requirements and maintains a log of the daily PPD and month to date PPDCommunicates with admissions on a daily basis for census and admission/discharge status of patientsReviews daily punch detail report on each employee, verifies hours worked, corrects any errors, and identifies trendsProvides innovative, responsible healthcare with the creation and implementation of new ideas and concepts that continually improve systems and processes to achieve superior resultsCentral Supply:Receives and follows instructions from your supervisor as outlined in our established policies and proceduresEnsures all telephone orders are confirmed with a written purchase orderAssists in preparing correspondence and claims concerning damaged merchandise, errors in shipment, etc.Develops methods for determining quantity of supplies and equipment requiredMakes written and oral reports/recommendations to the purchasing agent concerning procurement procedures as directedEnsures various departments are properly charged with supplies they have received for cost allocation purposesDelivers emergency supplies and equipment as directedFills requisitions from departments for routine supplies and equipment in accordance with established policies and proceduresEnsures that supplies and equipment are properly maintained and storedOrganizes storage, issue, and delivery of supplies and equipment in accordance with established policies and proceduresChecks invoices, purchase orders, packing slips, etc., with incoming merchandiseUpdates inventory as required when receiving/issuing supplies and equipmentFills requisitions, as approved, and files in accordance with established policiesQualifications:Must possess, as a minimum, a high school education or its equivalent.
