We create more efficient ways for shippers and carriers to transport goods across North America.As an Assistant, Carrier Procurement at RXO, you will be responsible for connecting with customers, matching the right carrier with the right freight, and providing daily freight solutions to our customers. On our team, you’ll have the support to excel at work and the resources to build a career you can be proud of.What Your Day-to-day Will Look LikeTrack the status of shipments from inception to delivery, and communicate with the sales representative on status of the shipmentIdentify and address any issues that may arise on any shipmentEnsure accurate data entry into the transportation management system and prepare loads for accountingCommunicate any shipment, billing or follow-up issues to Carrier Operations ManagerPrioritize the daily workload and focus of your carriers including tracking and tracking reportsMaintain knowledge of all assigned carriers and utilizationMonitor report cardsIt’d Be Great If You Also Have1 year of sales or customer service experience1 year of related experience and/or training, and a general understanding of the transportation industryExcellent verbal and written communication skillsSelf-motivated work style with the capacity to work well with minimal direct supervision or in a team environmentAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detail and follow-up skills with experience identifying and resolving problemsDoes this sound like you?
