Title Data Architect Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time Description RiVidium Inc. is seeking a Senior Data Architect with expertise in data strategy, data governance, data modeling, and enterprise data architecture. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable data architectures that support organizational goals while ensuring data security, accessibility, and integrity. Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement enterprise data strategies, governance frameworks, and architecture standardsDesign, build, and manage scalable data architectures to support business and mission needsCollaborate with database administrators, analysts, and stakeholders to ensure efficient and secure data accessLead data modeling efforts, including conceptual, logical, and physical data modelsDefine how data is stored, integrated, consumed, and managed across systems and applicationsEstablish and maintain master data management (MDM) and metadata management practicesCreate data architecture artifacts, including diagrams, data inventories, and architectural roadmapsEnsure data architectures scale to meet increasing data demands and evolving business requirementsDefine data quality standards and business rules to support data integrity and usabilityDocument and communicate the relationship between business objectives and IT data solutionsDevelop strategy documents, roadmaps, and business cases; support planning and implementation effortsCollaborate across teams to promote data-driven decision-making and architectural best practicesMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related fieldEquivalent project-related experience may be considered in lieu of a degreeMinimum of ten (10) years of IT experience, including at least five (5) years in information systems designProven experience designing and implementing enterprise data architectures and information solutionsStrong expertise in data modeling, data classification, and enterprise data architecture frameworksExperience with system integration, interface design, and web-based architecture approachesKnowledge of metadata management, data warehousing, business intelligence, and data governance practicesFamiliarity with cloud and hybrid data environments and distributed data managementUnderstanding of modern data architectures, including microservices and event-driven architecturesStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsCore Competencies:Ability to translate business needs into scalable data solutionsStrong conceptual thinking, pattern recognition, and problem-solving abilitiesEffective communication with executive leadership, business stakeholders, and technical teamsExperience with design thinking and innovation methodologiesAbility to quickly learn and apply new technologies and mentor team membersPreferred Qualifications:Experience with enterprise data modeling toolsExperience with cloud-managed data services (AWS, Azure, or similar)Hands-on experience implementing data governance and analytics programs3-5 years of experience as a data analystPrior experience with Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Navy (DoN), or law enforcement environmentsFamiliarity with federal enterprise architecture frameworks and artifacts About the Organization Established in 2008, RiVidium, Inc.
