Lead Electrical Construction Manager
About the Role
As a Lead Electrical Construction Manager, you will spearhead complex commercial and industrial installations, ensuring every phase from initial estimation to final project close-out is executed with precision. You will serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, driving project profitability and operational excellence through strategic oversight of resources and timelines.
Responsibilities
Direct the full lifecycle of electrical construction projects, including scope definition, budget management, and scheduling.
Supervise field crews to ensure high-quality installation standards and strict adherence to safety protocols.
Facilitate seamless communication between clients, general contractors, and subcontractors to maintain project momentum.
Generate and manage essential project documentation, including RFIs and change orders, to ensure contractual compliance.
Monitor labor productivity and material expenditures to maximize project margins and financial performance.
Proactively identify potential site risks and implement mitigation strategies to prevent delays.
Conduct regular site assessments to verify that work meets technical specifications and quality benchmarks.
Required Skills
5+ years of experience in electrical project management within the construction industry.
Demonstrated success overseeing commercial or industrial electrical projects ranging from $500K to $5M+.
Comprehensive knowledge of electrical construction methods and MEP coordination.
Strong proficiency in project management software tools.
Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team development and client relations.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Skills
Direct experience with platforms such as ProCore or Touchplan.
Background in electrical project estimating and bid preparation.
Strong analytical skills for tracking project metrics and cost control.
