Supervisor Stewarding
Position Summary: Supervises stewarding department activities and ensures all food preparation and storage areas are cleaned and maintained in a safe and sanitary manner.

Essential Job Functions
Ensures restaurants and kitchens have the requisite amounts of the above to properly open their shifts and that there are sufficient carts and racks in which to place dirty and clean dishes, silverware, pots, and pans
Supervises operation and care of the industrial dishwashing machine and other industrial cleaning equipment
Responsible for the cleanliness of the beverage service wells
Responsible for maintaining the proper chemicals in the hood system, and at all dish machines, pot sinks, and glass washing machines
Supervises filling and emptying of the portable oil tank system
Performs all other duties specified or assigned
Qualifications
Must be 21 years or older
High school diploma or equivalent
1 or more years of stewarding supervisor experience
Must be available to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays
Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing
Must have a working knowledge of kitchen equipment and cleaning procedures
Must possess outstanding interpersonal communications skills to effectively interface with guests and team members
Possesses ability to work under pressure
Prior experience is required as well as a proven track record demonstrating sound judgment
Must have successfully completed and maintain certification in "ServSafe" (Food Sanitation Management) within 120 days of employment
Must be able to understand and communicate Material Safety Data Sheets to all team members
Ability to communicate with team members and guests
Ability to successfully fulfill the pre-employment process
Working Conditions
Use of industrial strength cleaning chemicals required
Regularly required to see, stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear for 8 hours
Occasionally required to stoop, kneel or crouch
Must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds
Able to interact with others while maintaining a positive and courteous demeanor under noisy and fast paced working conditions
Ability to work in a noisy environment
