Furthermore the Director of Sales shapes the Storyblok sales concept for this target market and scales revenue to the next level. Responsible for leading the AMER Enterprise Account Executive team and scaling that up. Oversees business development and sales activities into existing and new markets and helps the team in forecasting and negotiating complex deals. Own all plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the company's sales goals.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSDevelop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets for the North American marketLead, mentor, and scale a team of Account Executives.Shape and refine Storyblok's sales concept for the North American target marketOversee sales activities in existing and new markets within AMERGuide the team in forecasting and negotiating complex dealsAnalyze market trends, identify new business opportunities, and develop action plans to capitalize on themBuild and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partnersCollaborate with other departments (e.g., marketing, product development) to ensure alignment of sales strategies with overall company objectivesMonitor and report on sales performance, providing regular updates to senior managementContinuously optimize sales processes and methodologies to improve efficiency and effectivenessStay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamicsDevelop accurate sales forecasts and projections for the AMER regionParticipate in cross-functional initiatives (eg. Marketing, Partners, EMEA and Global BDR, EMEA and Global AE) to align sales strategies with overall business goalsAnalyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvementPrepare and present regular sales reports and insights to senior managementEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred10+ years of progressive sales experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role such as Sales Manager or Director of SalesProven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets in the North American marketStrong understanding of B2B enterprise sales processes and methodologiesExperience in scaling sales teams and operations in high-growth environmentsExcellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills; Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasivelyDemonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic sales plansProficiency with CRM software and sales analytics toolsDeep understanding of the North American market dynamics and customer neI knowedsExperience in selling SaaS or similar technology products is highly desirableDeep understanding and application of the MEDDPICC sales methodologyA positive, can-do attitude with a drive to overcome challenges and inspire your team to do the sameDeep knowledge of the American market and proven track record in selling in this region. A proactive approach to identifying and developing new initiatives that contribute to team success and business growthExpertise in positioning and selling technology-driven SaaS products that drive business transformationDemonstrates AI literacy, with the ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, decision-making, and quality of work while applying sound judgment and critical thinking.U.S. Base Salary Range: $145,000 - $225,000.At Storyblok, we are committed to equitable compensation and pay transparency. We consider many factors when it comes to compensation, such as the scope of the role, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Our base salary ranges are determined by job and job level and are benchmarked to relevant location and industry data. The range displayed represents the target US base compensation range within which we are hiring for this role.
