CNC Machinist
Job Overview
We are seeking experienced CNC Machinists to join a high-precision manufacturing environment producing complex, tight-tolerance parts. This role is ideal for machinists with experience on Mazak CNC mills, multi-axis machines, or Integrex mill/turn equipment who enjoy challenging work and contributing to a team-driven shop.
Openings are available on 1st shift and 2nd shift, with overtime opportunities.
Responsibilities
Set up, program, and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, multi-axis, mill/turn)
Program using G-Code, Mazatrol, and/or CAM software
Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and work instructions
Perform tool selection, offsets, work holding, and job sequencing
Machine complex, close-tolerance parts (including aerospace components)
Troubleshoot tooling, fixtures, and machining processes
Perform in-process and final inspection using precision measuring tools
Document processes and support continuous improvement efforts
Work collaboratively in a team-based manufacturing environment
Qualifications
Experience with Mazak CNC equipment (mills, Integrex, or similar mill/turn machines)
Strong knowledge of CNC setup and programming
Ability to hold tight tolerances (as close as ±.0005”)
Proficient with inspection tools: micrometers, bore gauges, dial indicators, height gauges, CMM (preferred)
Experience machining a variety of materials (including metals and plastics)
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred (not required):
Multi-axis machining experience
Aerospace machining background
Mastercam, UG/NX, or other CAM software
Trade school, CNC training, or Journeyman certification
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $33.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
