DescriptionLAC Federal is seeking a Receptionist to provide front desk and receptionist support for the IRC office environment including visitor management, phone coverage, scheduling support, and administrative assistance.Duties And ResponsibilitiesGreet and assist visitors Answer and route telephone calls Maintain visitor logs and coordinate badges Support conference room scheduling Provide routine office administrative support Coordinate deliveries and front office operations RequirementsMandatory Requirements1-3 years of experience in a professional office environment as a support assistant or receptionist, or equivalent positionExperience handling phone calls, emails, and mail, serving as the point of contact for internal and external communicationAbility to maintain records of receipt, mailing dates, and other required informationAbility to ensure appropriate mailing and/or shipping of packages, letters, etc.Experience managing calendars, scheduling meetings, appointments, and greeting high-level guestsExperience creating and distributing correspondence, reports, and other documentsTrack inventory of office supplies and notifying admin office of need to replenish those supplies.Experience providing general office support like various administrative tasks, data entry, filing, and customer serviceAbility to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectivelyAbility to manage the receptionist areaEffective written and verbal communication skills for interacting with various individualsProficiency in office software and equipmentHigh School diploma required, higher education preferredProficient in the use of commercial software packages and databases, such as Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.Possess the ability to respond flexibly and to provide rapid assistance in a time-sensitiveenvironment.Possess strong organizational and customer service skills.Must be a U. S. CitizenAbility to obtain and retain a “SECRET” security clearance. Active clearance strongly preferredPreferred RequirementsExperience supporting DOS or civilian agencies preferred Physical RequirementsAbility to sit, stand, walk, and use standard office equipment and computer systems for extended periods while performing receptionist, scheduling, data entry, phone coverage, and administrative support duties. Ability to occasionally lift, carry, sort, and distribute mail, packages, office supplies, and files weighing up to 20–25 pounds as part of front office and administrative operations.
