Real Estate Closer – Lakewood Ranch, FL

Leech Tishman is seeking to hire a Real Estate Closer with 2+ years of experience in handling residential real estate closings to work in our Lakewood Ranch, FL office. The Real Estate Closer will be responsible for keeping buyer, seller, real estate agents, lenders and mortgage brokers up to date throughout the transaction as well as clearing title, closing, balancing and disbursing escrow funds, recording documents to convey and insure title, and other ancillary tasks that relate to the issuance of title insurance in the State of Florida. The ideal candidate will be extremely detail-oriented. This position requires significant client contact and the ability to excel when working independently. Candidate must have experience handling residential real estate closings from contract to closing.Duties and Responsibilities:Coordinate with lenders, realtors, buyers, sellers and attorneys to ensure smooth closingReview and prepare escrow documents and ensure they are complete and accurateConduct closings and guide all parties through the signing processResolve title and closing issues proactivelyRemain organized in a fast-paced environmentManage the disbursement of fundsQualifications and Skills:2+ years of experience as a title closer; law firm environment is a plusValid Florida Notary Public or willingness to apply for NotaryTitle Agent license is a plus, but not a requirementProficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with closing software a plusStrong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skillsAbility to work within deadlines and work on multiple tasks simultaneouslyDetail-oriented and highly organizedEducation and Experience:2+ years of experience as a title closer and/or title processorAssociates/bachelor’s degree preferredSalary commensurate with experienceWorking Conditions:Primarily an office environmentProlonged periods of sitting at a deskRegularly navigates the office and uses office equipment (phones, copier, printer, mail machine, A/V equipment, etc.)Consistently uses a computer and other equipment that requires keyboardingProlonged periods of focus and attention to detailConsistently requires communication with others (phone, email, in person, Teams, etc.)Regularly engages in activities that have productivity and time driven requirementsSome lifting and moving, such as files and other items up to 15 poundsThis is not intended to be a comprehensive list of the duties and responsibilities of the position, which may change without notice.Position Details: This is a full-time, non-exempt position.
