Title: Plant Accounting SupervisorDuration: Full-time, PermanentLocation: Woodward, OK (30 mins from Tulsa)Openings: 1Salary: $105,000 - $135,000Shift: M-T On-Site Fridays are off or remote 9/80 Shift (26 three-day weekends per year)Week 1: Employees work nine-hour days from Monday to Thursday and an eight-hour day on Friday remote.Week 2: Employees work nine-hour days from Monday to Thursday and get Friday off.Start Date: Mid-MayThe Supervisor, Plant Accounting is responsible for overseeing the financial operations within a plant manufacturing environment. This role ensures accurate product costing, timely financial reporting, and compliance with internal and external audit requirements. The position reports to the Accounting Manager and supervises accounting staff, including the Senior Accountant.Must Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.At least 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing plant.Experience in public accounting.CPA license or working towards it (at least one exam passed).Experience with SAP S4/Hana or similar ERP systems like Oracle.Leadership experience.Added QualificationsCoupa ExperienceFinancial analysisCPA CertifiedKey ResponsibilitiesHandle journal entries for product costing and complete monthly financial close.Prepare month-end financial statement analysis, key performance reports, and property tax reports/payments.Maintain Sarbanes-Oxley documentation and ensure compliance.Manage reporting for natural gas, electricity, and catalyst usage.Track capital projects and assist with audits, budget preparation, and quarterly updates.Prepare additional reports as requested by management.Coordinate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial data.Supervise and mentor Accountant and Senior Accountant staff.
