The educational experience provided to our students and their families is rooted in a higher calling from God to honor and celebrate the gifts He has given us.Job SummaryImmaculate Conception Catholic Church, Old Monroe is seeking a dedicated and mission-driven Full-Time 3rd Grade Teacher to join the school faculty. This position is responsible for providing high-quality instruction, fostering a positive, faith-centered classroom environment, and supporting students' academic, social, and spiritual growth. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong instructional skills, a love for working with children, and a commitment to the mission of Catholic education. This candidate would collaborate effectively with colleagues, administrators, and families.Job Responsibilities• Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate instruction aligned with school and Archdiocesan curriculum standards.• Create a structured, supportive, and welcoming classroom environment that promotes learning and respect.• Integrate faith formation into daily instruction and classroom life.• Assess student progress using a variety of tools and provide timely, constructive feedback.• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of 3rd grade learners.• Communicate regularly and professionally with parents, colleagues, and administrators.• Maintain accurate records, including lesson plans, grades, and student documentation.• Supervise students during transitions, recess, lunch, and other assigned duties.• Collaborate with colleagues, administration, and support staff to support student success and spiritual formation.• Participate in professional development, faculty meetings, and schoolwide events.• Model Catholic values and contribute positively to the spiritual life of the school community.Job Requirements• Bachelor's degree in Education required; Master's degree preferred.• Valid Missouri teaching certification or eligibility for certification.• Experience teaching elementary students or working in a school setting.• Strong classroom-management, communication, and organizational skills.• Ability to create engaging lessons that support academic and faith development.• Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education.• Must meet Archdiocesan compliance requirements, including Safe Environment training.The Archdiocese of St. Louis Catholic Education and Formation is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
