Your daily tasks will adapt to the evolving needs of the clinic, ensuring personalized and attentive service. Essential Responsibilities:Provide direct and delegated patient care, recognizing normal and abnormal health indicators to identify at-risk patients. Deliver care aligned with established standards and guidelines. Respond promptly to telephone inquiries, triaging calls appropriately while offering reassurance, clear education, and guidance to patients. Facilitate smooth healthcare delivery during patient visits by ensuring medical records are accurate, complete, and up to date. Initiate patient contact, prepare patients for examinations, and collect vital signs including weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiratory rate, and medical history. Observe and communicate abnormal patient signs to physicians, documenting findings thoroughly in medical records. Ensure patients understand physician instructions upon discharge and accurately document all medical entries and billing information in electronic records. Assist physicians with testing, treatment procedures, splint and dressing applications, and minor surgeries under supervision. Manage sample medications and logs, arrange necessary testing or admissions, obtain referrals, and notify patients of test results. Obtain consents prior to invasive procedures or immunizations and distribute educational materials to support patient understanding of treatments and medications. Perform laboratory tests and maintain lab logs as prescribed. Maintain clinical areas by stocking supplies, organizing patient education materials, ensuring cleanliness, and sterilizing instruments and equipment. Perform additional duties as assigned to support the clinical team. Education and Experience Required:Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant Program or an accredited Nursing Program.
