Heaven Hill Bourbon Experience Retail AssociateThis is an onsite position at the Heaven Hill Bourbon Experience located in Bardstown, KY.What the Role IsThe Retail Associate will be responsible for daily retail operations at Heaven Hill Bourbon Experience. This position will handle cashier and inventory duties, including all point-of-sale activity. The Associate is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and answering all questions and inquiries about our product.How You Will Spend Your Time?Responsible for daily Point of Sale (POS) activityEstablish strong working relationship with Retail Lead and work together to ensure data integrity in the POS system CounterpointPerform the roles of cashier and greeter to guestsInteract with guests, provide knowledge of the spirits and samples as requestedEducate guests about the brand stores, histories and processesMaintain a friendly, courteous and professional demeanor at all timesHandle merchandise and bottle sale transactions.Restock inventory and maintain a clean retail environment.Support visitor check-in for toursAll other duties as requiredWho You Are…High School Diploma or GED equivalent requiredMinimum 1 year of retail or customer service experienceMust be 21 years of age or olderAbility to represent the company and communicate professionally and effectively with people internally and externallyExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsKnowledge of principles and processes for providing customer serviceKnowledge of administrative and clerical proceduresBasic knowledge of phone, voice mail, and electronic mail systemsBasic knowledge and use of computers to enter data or process informationAvailable to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)Available to work 8-10 hour shifts independentlyValued but not Required Skills and Experience:Previous experience in the distilled spirits industry and/or knowledgeable on spirits industryPrevious work experience in a retail gift shopPhysical RequirementsWhile performing job duties, the employee is occasionally required to:stand; walk; use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, use of computer; and reach with hands and arms.Lift and/or move up to 45 pounds.Heaven Hill and its affiliates are committed to fostering a diverse workforce as an Equal Employment Opportunity company.
