Supervisor, Expanded Learning

Job DetailsDescriptionThe Supervisor of Expanded Learning will manage multiple site coordinators and will be directly accountable for the operations, quality, and customer satisfaction of each of their sites. This position will work closely with their respective Catalyst ELO-P district partner, educators, parents, and school administration. The Supervisor of Expanded Learning will report directly to the Manager of Expanded Learning and could work with fellow Supervisors under one district contract.Essential Job FunctionsCollaborates with Expanded Learning Manager and other Supervisors as needed to establish overall contract plan and site-specific goals.Works with Site Coordinators of Extended Learning to plan and implement site-based services to coincide with the community's needs.Establishes strategic relationships with external stakeholders – Principals, Teacher on Special Assignment, School Districts, etc. Maintains regular communication and strengthens relationships needed for growth and renewal of programs.Manages key HR functions, in partnership with HR Team, including recruitment, selection, evaluation, scheduling, hiring.Continuously assess and forecast staffing needs in consideration of changes in enrollmentAssists Manager of Expanded Learning with Field Staff and deploying substitutes to Site Coordinators as needed.Maintains high staff morale, recognition, and retention.Trains, manages, and supports Site Coordinators to implement financially sound budgeting resource utilization practices, as well as timely reporting of the center financial activities.Reviews all purchasing of assigned sites and ensures that staffing levels and other expenses are managed prudently. Controls all costs through prudent purchasing of materials and services.Ensure Site Coordinators are meeting all Health and Safety standards and that staff schedules meet required adult to child ratios.Ensures sites/programs meet state specific requirements/standards.Implements effective standardized operating procedures to help drive program quality.Assures communication and relationships with families and community are established and sustained.
