This position will be primarily day shift and will participate in the Acute Care Decentral Leader On-Call rotation.Key Roles And Responsibilities IncludeClinical Oversight and Patient Care:Supervise daily clinical operations to ensure high-quality patient careEnsure adherence to clinical guidelines, protocols, and evidence-based practicesParticipate in clinical practice rolePharmacist Supervision, Training and Support:Provide clinical guidance, mentorship, and coaching to pharmacistsEvaluate staff performance and provide constructive feedback, addressing areas for improvementAssist in the hiring, training, and orientation of new clinical pharmacistsCoordinate staffing schedulesIdentify areas for professional development and organize training programsQuality Assurance and Compliance:Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations, standards, and organizational policiesPromote a culture of safety by identifying potential risks and implementing risk management strategiesCollaboration and Communication:Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient careMaintain clear and open communication with pharmacists, addressing any issues, concerns, or suggestions in a timely mannerEnsure that clinical teams are updated on policy changes, best practices, and any relevant developmentsOperational Management:Assist in the development of clinical policies, procedures, and workflows to ensure efficiency and patient safetyHelp coordinate resources to optimize operational flowJob DescriptionTo supervise and evaluate pharmaceutical services in an assigned area. To ensure pharmacy operations conform to all applicable internal and external regulations, are fiscally sound and promote quality patient care. Provides pharmaceutical care as needed.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Pharmacy and two (2) years of experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
