Joining Arium Networks allows you to grow your career while building technology that will influence how people connect in the years ahead.ABOUT THE ROLEResponsible for supporting and maintaining small cell & DAS Networks that are currently serving, the Nation’s largest Wireless Carriers. Year-round objectives to include, first response to outages and impairments, along with making the needed repairs to the assigned networks. Annual Preventative Maintenance inspections, to remote DAS/SC equipment and host related equipment. Various computer related administrative tasks, i.e. uploading photos and documents, using GUI pages along with many web-based tools. Safe work practices must be applied to the completion of all work-related tasks, along with integrity, quality and attention to details.WHAT YOU WILL DOPerform all activities in a manner to ensure the safety of yourself, your team, your customers and the public.Respond to all network outages, impairments and emergencies in the DAS/SC network you are assigned.Complete all assigned annual preventative maintenance inspections thoroughly and accurately, to Arium Networks standards.Operation and understanding of RF and fiber related test equipment, such as PIM analyzer, Antenna analyzer, RF power meter, Spectrum analyzer, Signal generator, OTDR, Fusion splicer, Optic power meter.Operate PC or similar devices to gain access to DAS/SC network and complete assigned administrative tasks.Work efficiently and effectively with cross functional departments and peers.First line acceptance of all new and modified networks using the Network Handoff Process.Ensure timely acceptance of all assigned tickets and meet all SLA, Resolve and MTTRs in you assigned areaWHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEEDEducation / CertificationsHigh School Degree or equivalent requiredAssociates degree, two-year technical degree or equivalent military/special electronics training experience strongly preferredA valid state driver’s license required Skills and ExperienceTwo (2) or more years of experience in one or more of the following fields: wireless communications, outside plant fiber optic installations, repair, testing and troubleshootingKnowledge of radio transmitters, receivers, antennas, electronic theory, fiber optic theoryAbility to safely drive and operate a DOT compliant boom truck, in the public right of way.Ability to work closely with and provide guidance to vendors both on-site and remotelyAbility to analyze and understand PIM/Sweep test dataAbility to communicate both verbally and in writing in a clear and concise mannerSkilled in trouble ticket or work order systemsExposure to network monitoring systemsAbility to work independently with minimal guidance, while managing time for maximum efficiency.DOT CertificationOSHA CertificationsFiber Optic ExperiencePIM or Antenna analyzer certificationsSkilled in trouble ticket or work order systemsExposure to network monitoring systemsWhere you will workThis is a remote role (must be located in a commutable distance to Conshohocken, PA) which requires travel to customer and/or project sites with exposure to heavy equipment and environmental conditions over 90% of the time. There will also be work in a normal office setting with no exposure to adverse environmental conditions as little as 10% of the time. This position will be swing shift hours, possibly weekends and requires on call rotation involvement. There may be travel required away from the home location for extended periods of time.Working ConditionsThis role works in the field with exposure to RF emissions, construction materials, noise, and wastes. Requires physical demands of lifting, stooping, standing for extended periods, getting in/out of misc. equipment, and climbing ladders in adverse weather and heat. Travel within Region is required and could be up to 80% of the time and to include overnight trips.CompensationThe pay range offered for this position is $30.29 - $41.63 per hour. A candidate’s offer is determined by various factors including but not limited to, depth of experience, role-related knowledge and skills, relevant education or training, internal alignment, and work location.
