We are seeking a skilled and experienced Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating heavy equipment on construction sites, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment. The successful applicant will have a strong background in operating various types of heavy equipment, including front loader trucks, water trucks, and dump trucks. They will be responsible for digging and moving materials as needed, as well as operating a concrete mixer. The Equipment Operator will work closely with the construction team to ensure that all projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards.
Duties:
- Operate a variety of heavy equipment, including front loader trucks, water trucks, and dump trucks, in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform digging and moving of materials as needed.
- Operate a concrete mixer to mix and transport concrete materials.
- Conduct regular maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure proper operation and extend its lifespan.
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations, ensuring a safe work environment for the team.
- Collaborate with the construction team to complete projects on time and to the highest quality standards.
- Perform other duties as required.
Skills:
- Experience operating heavy equipment, including front loader trucks, water trucks, and dump trucks.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to perform routine maintenance tasks.
- Experience operating a concrete mixer.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Commercial driving experience.
- Familiarity with construction sites and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to dig and move materials as needed.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and regulations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.56 - $29.83 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
