Kentucky Transportation Lead

Join us and help shape the future!Your ImpactUtilize relationships with clients to achieve WSP's business development goalsDevelop working relationships with clients and consultant partnersBuild a local team to support client needsLead tasks & design teams in the execution of projectsProvide technical expertise in various stages of project, including preliminary design, final design, and contract documentation including cost estimates and specificationsDiscuss and propose solutions to technical issues during designExercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and proceduresCollaborate with key staff across disciplines (i.e., drainage, structures) as requiredWho You AreRequired QualificationsB.S. in Civil Engineering or closely related field10+ years of experience in the Transportation engineering fieldPossess strong verbal and written communication skillsProfessional Engineer's License in KentuckyHands-on experience in OpenRoads DesignerProficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and ExcelAbility to implement WSP's Quality Control ProceduresPreferred Qualifications:Experience managing small to mid-size projectsLeadership experience working with KYTC and other local agenciesBusiness development experienceExperience in leading and mentoring a teamThe selected candidate must have the ability to work in the United States immediatelyOccasional travel may be required depending on project-specific requirements#LI-SM1
