Embedded Software Test Engineer

We have a position for an experienced SIL test engineer to work on systems verification and validation tests, documenting and analyzing the results of embedded software. Job Location : Columbus, IN area. Hybrid work schedule with approximately 3-4 days in the office weekly, depending on project needs. What you will be doing: Developing manual test plans, executing, documenting, etc... Software-in the loop bench testing of Embedded C Software. Technical requirements gathering, design profile development, DVPR development/execution/administration. The ideal candidate will be experienced in the following areas: SIL testing MIL testing ECU Testing Testing manually built code. AUTOSAR Architecture What you'll need to be successful: College, university, or equivalent Bachelor's degree in Engineering or other relevant technical disciplines. Engine control system experience 2 years of professional experience working in the AUTOSAR Architecture Hardware (sensors, ECUs, harnessing) - experience with wiring harness test (highly desired) Reading schematics and technical documentation Validation/Verification Test Plans of software features (required) Good communicator – written and verbal. An effective problem solver who is comfortable using analytical tools. Eager to learn; comfortable asking questions.
