The ideal candidate is highly technical, self-driven, and comfortable owning complex components end-to-end in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and maintain high-performance backend services using Python and modern microservices architectures.Develop and manage event-driven systems using Kafka (producers, consumers, stream processing).Implement and optimize caching strategies (e.g., Redis, in-memory caching) to improve system performance and scalability.Make sound architectural and design decisions with a strong focus on reliability, scalability, and maintainability.Take full ownership of assigned components, from design through deployment and production support.Collaborate with cross-functional teams while working independently with minimal supervision. Required Skills & ExperienceStrong hands-on experience with Python in backend systems or large-scale applications.Solid understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture.Experience with Kafka or similar messaging/event-streaming platforms.Hands-on experience with caching technologies (Redis, in-memory caching, performance optimization).Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment. What We’re Looking ForHighly technical engineers who are self-motivated and ownership-driven.Ability to work independently with minimal handholding.Comfort in handling system complexity and making impactful technical decisions.
