Luth-AR is focused on introducing new, exciting products and maintaining strong relationships with customers and partners.Role Description The Machine Operator role is a consistent part time or full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Minneapolis–St. Paul Area. The Machine Operator will set up, operate, and monitor production machinery to manufacture AR-15 components according to specifications and safety standards. Responsibilities include measuring and inspecting parts, performing basic maintenance on machines, and ensuring consistent quality throughout the production process. The role involves using hand tools, following work orders and blueprints, maintaining accurate production records, and collaborating with team members and supervisors to meet daily output and safety goals. The Machine Operator will also help keep the work area clean, follow company policies and procedures, and support continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.QualificationsCandidates should possess machine operation skills and experience working with production machinery.Candidates should possess quality control skills, including the ability to measure, inspect, and document parts accurately.Candidates should possess experience using basic hand tools and working safely in a manufacturing environment.Candidates should possess strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors.Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to read work instructions, drawings, or blueprints.Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and follow safety protocols consistently.Previous experience in machining, firearms manufacturing, or metalworking is beneficial but not required.High school diploma or equivalent preferred; technical or vocational training in manufacturing is a plus.
