To help us drive excellence, you’ll get to: · Prioritize and assign work load for team. · Directs training of workers to improve department performance. · Maintain and upgrade fixtures and gauges. · Studies specifications such as blueprints, sketches, models or descriptions and visualizes product to determine materials required and machines to be used to fabricate parts. · Perform extensive die maintenance such as rebuilding die sections, retiming pads and forms and engineering changes on all types of dies. · Make decisions and judgments about proper course of action for repair and maintenance. · Examines standard or previously used dies, tools, jigs and fixtures to recommend design modifications regarding construction and function of part. · Determine specifications for inspection of work, using full range of precision measuring and gauging tools to perform inspection before, during and after machining
