Runner/Busser Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesTo ensure proper, prompt, and courteous service to all guests, by assist servers in any way possible as well as other assigned tasks. ResponsibilitiesSet-up following stations; set-up water towers with ice water, cups and napkins; set-up and maintain coffee station in the AM, set-up and maintain candles on all tables in the PM. Stock needed supplies. Give details to MOD for items that are depleting for ordering purposes. Clean and maintain coffee machines and prepare coffee station for service: including stocking cups, lids, creamers, pots, sugars, milks, coffee bags/beans, all other supplies needed for service. Set-up sanitation buckets with solution and towels; server station & BOH. Fill & refill ice stations. Wipe & disinfect all tables, including chairs & table legs. Assist with running side-work: stocking roll-ups, polishing glassware & emptying dish pit. Check linen pars: triangle folds, linen basket folds, napkins & serviettes Greet guests upon seating and ask for their water selection. Bring waters & roll-ups to the table. Run the appropriate food to the correct table & position number based on the ticket. Prepare and maintain food line for and throughout service. Review IRD tray log & conduct tray runs throughout the property throughout one's shift to retrieve. Be on-time to one's scheduled shift. QualificationsMinimum 1 year Food Runner or related experience preferred. Must be willing and can work a varied schedule that may include evenings, nights, weekends and holidays. Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance. Must have valid Riverside County's Food Handler's card & RBS Certificate. Move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance. Stand or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift in an indoor/outdoor environment.
