Job Description:The position provides overall grounds andmaintenance service conducive to provide burial, landscaping, and burial markerinstallation servicesJob Responsibilitiesmay include:• Assist in performingopenings & closings for burials, entombments, and inurnments• Operating a mower,weed eater and blower• Digging graves,placing headstones, hauling dirt, set up and tear down of gravesites.• Sets, installs, andassembles foundations, memorials, and markers• Installs outer burialcontainers• Handles and completeswork orders from client families as it pertains to individual grave and markermaintenance• Responds to andcompletes requests for service/work orders• Conducts 25-footradius preparation for burials and ensures the area is clean and neat• Fills grave, tamps,seeds or sods• Adheres to all Companysafety rules and Universal Precautions• Maintains a clean andorderly work area• Completes Dignitytraining as assigned• Adheres to allstandards of the Dignity Memorial Promise• Performs all otherduties as assigned by managementExperience:• Minimum of six (6) months experience operating standardequipment• Ability to operate hand-held tools and equipment, including, butnot limited to a shovel, pick, rake, sledgehammer, lawn mower, weed trimmer,leaf blower, chain saw and pump• Ability to operate mechanical equipment including, but notlimited to, a dump truck, tractor, utility vehicle, marker trailed, dumptrailer, jack hammer, tamper, and backhoe• Ability to accurately use measuring devices (i.e., tape measure,yard stick, etc.)• Ability tocommunicate effectively with fellow associates, contractor personnel and clientfamilies• Ability to liftheavy objects up to 50 lbs.Work Conditions:• Work indoors or outdoors during all seasons and weatherconditionsWork Hours:• 40 hours a week• Working beyond "standard†hours as the need arises
