Team Lead In The Anodize DepartmentThe Team Lead in the Anodize Department will assist in the supervision of employees working on the production floor. The Team Lead will set the example regarding production rates and be available to oversee employees for questions and training.Key Accountabilities | Results Expected To AchieveMeet or exceed organizational goals for safety, quality, and customer service are metKey Responsibilities | Tasks You Do To Achieve The AccountabilitiesEnsures company standards for safety, quality and customer satisfaction are met or exceededAssists with leading, developing, directing, and coaching of employees on the production floorSupport the performance review process by writing, delivering and having periodic discussions on performance with assigned employees ensuring accuracy, honesty, and timeliness of deliveryGive recognition in a timely manner for good performance to employeesResponsible for the training employees, which includes techniques used on parts and processes to ensure rates and quality expectations are metResponsible for keeping employees busy to cut down on daily down time through work lists or supervisionPerforms hourly check ups with employees to ensure work is being completed timely and accuratelyPerforms safety walks and corrects issues identifiedMaintaining housekeeping standards. Ensure production floor is tour ready by ensuring safety hazardous are identified and corrected and area is neat and organizedEnsures employees are up to date on required trainingsAssists with building loads to keep the work continuous for teamValidates that all jobs are set up correctly for the successful completion of jobsVerifies employees are following process cards properly per listed instructions and highlighting cards as part of the procedurePerforms a quality & final sign off on job trackers verifying quality requirements have been successfully metVerifies with employees that they know and understand where they are on rates on a weekly basis and gives feedback on expectations for improvementVisually inspects work of the team to ensure quality standards are being metReviews process cards for completeness and if errors are identified, ensure the errors are addressedOccasionally will meet with customers to address needs or solve issuesOperates a forklift to move production and other necessary itemsUses computer daily to print paperwork, labels, and any other needed informationPerforms all other assignments as requiredMust be able to work 3:00pm to 1:30am Monday through Thursday. Training will be completed on the first shift. The first shift schedule will be from 6:00am to 2:30pm Monday through Friday.Qualities For SuccessDemonstrates Arrow Finishing Core ValuesHigh school diploma or GED equivalentMust be a Citizen of the United States of America or have a current Green CardAccountable for working independentlyAble to make proper decisionsStrong leadership/supervisory skillsGeneral knowledge of anodize terminologyStrong attention to detail to ensure safety and qualityGeneral computer skills and the ability to work with basic computer programsAbility to balance workload effectively and stay organizedStrong basic math skillsAbility to read and understand processes, procedures, and instructionsAbility to work and collaborate with others respectfully and professionallyAbility to be dependable and punctual, work overtime as neededPhysical RequirementsLift up to 20 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. on occasionAbility to use hand tools requiring using fine dexterity and precisionStanding, sitting, walking, stooping, and bending for 8 hours as the position requiresAbility to withstand occasional odorsWork EnvironmentThis position location is on the production floor. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may work near moving mechanical parts and could be exposed to chemical or electrical shock risk.
