Must have previously completed a lab course in the subject matter you will be assisting.Duties And ResponsibilitiesAttend your assigned section and actively participate in the student learning process.Assist in the evaluation and assessment of lab reports as directed by the course instructor.Maintain confidentiality of all coursework and assignments, grades, and any material on any graded assignments throughout the courseAid the instructor during class, including supervising the lab, ensuring students perform activities correctly and helping to answer questions when possibleMonitor and notify the instructor if supplies for future labs are low and need to be reorderedAssist with lab prep and clean upAdditional duties include cleaning and disinfecting the lab before and/or after labsPosition RequirementsContinued full-time student status (minimum of 12 credit hours).Successful completion of corresponding lab course with a grade of B or higher, preferably at Newman University.Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.Number of hours per week: 5Rate of Pay: $8.25 per hourFounded in 1933, Newman University is a liberal arts institution grounded in Catholic values and traditions, yet is respectful of all faiths.
