Maintenance Manager

Our client, a manufacturing company in the CPG foods space, is seeking a Maintenance Manager to join their growing team.Term: Full time, Direct hireLocation: Freeport, IL (onsite)Salary: $100-130k + benefitsResponsibilities:Lead a multi-shift maintenance team to support continuous operationsOversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs using a CMMSPrioritize, assign, and optimize work orders to improve equipment reliability and uptimeMonitor performance, enforce work standards, and champion a strong safety cultureManage maintenance budgets, expenses, and resource planningIdentify and implement equipment, process, and system improvementsMaintain facility infrastructure and building systemsOversee operation and regulatory compliance of utility and environmental systemsEnsure compliance with all applicable safety, environmental, and facility regulationsMaintain reliability of critical plant utilities and support systemsRequirements:Engineering or technical degree preferred3+ years of maintenance, engineering, or reliability experience in fast-paced industrial settingsProven leadership managing multi-shift teams with strong team development skillsHands-on, proactive approach with a focus on safety, reliability, and continuous improvementSkilled in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systemsExperience with preventive maintenance programs and CMMS softwareKnowledge of environmental, safety, and regulatory compliance standardsPhysically able to access equipment and lift moderate loadsFlexible schedule to support off-hours and weekend operations if needed
