DB2 Database Administrator

Overview In this contract role, you will administer DB2 on mainframe environments to support key business initiatives. You will design physical data models, manage tablespaces, and optimize SQL access paths using Cogito, TMON, Explain, and Strobe. You will install and maintain DB2 in test and production environments and contribute to performance improvements and recovery strategies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data availability and reliability. The role offers exposure to mission-critical OLTP systems within an industrial IoT context.
