Start your new career as a Utility Maintenance Technician with MAU at our client in Covington, GA. As a Utility Maintenance Technician, you will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair utility equipment and systems, ensuring safe and efficient plant operations.
What We Offer
Pay of $32.75 - $36.25/hour based on the shift
Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM, plus rotating weekends with 12-hour shifts on Saturday & Sunday

What We're Looking For:
High school diploma or GED - required
2-year Technical degree in Industrial Maintenance - preferred
1-3 years of utility operation experience in an industrial environment (maintenance experience preferred)
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and follow safety procedures
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Availability to work all shifts (1st, 2nd, and 3rd) Monday-Friday, plus rotating weekend 12-hour shifts
Boiler certification or fourth-class license preferred (can be obtained within two years of employment)
What You'll Do as a Utility Maintenance Technician:
Operate, monitor, and maintain systems including steam boilers, compressed air systems, chillers, cooling towers, HVAC systems, and related equipment
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly inspections and log system performance data
Conduct preventative, routine, and emergency maintenance on utility systems
Troubleshoot and repair boilers, heaters, pumps, compressors, valves, and DCS control systems
Monitor chemical treatment systems for boilers and cooling water; adjust and maintain proper levels
Swap and calibrate equipment per schedule to ensure optimal performance
Maintain records, reports, and communication with management regarding any discrepancies or equipment issues
Adhere to all safety and environmental protocols
