At Hook & Reel, you will be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering incredible guest experiences, with real opportunities to grow your career._ *ROLE OVERVIEW* As a Server at Hook & Reel, you are a part of the warm and welcoming environment for the guests. You will be instrumental in helping to create a smooth and enjoyable dining experience. This position is perfect for someone who loves interacting with people and thrives in a lively, fast-paced environment. *Duties and Responsibilities:* * Greet all guests promptly and warmly upon arrival. * Answer guest questions regarding the menu and Hook & Reel brand. * Provide accurate information regarding menu, pricing, hours, promotions, and policies. * Listen attentively to guests to ensure correct orders. * Assist with side work and opening/closing tasks. * Clean and organize the front-of-house server station. * Observe and monitor table turnover by taking note of occupied, dirty or clean tables. * Ensure guest satisfaction by providing quality service and checking in regularly throughout the dining experience. * Inform management of special requests or guest concerns. * Communicate clearly and concisely with the kitchen staff and management regarding allergy orders. * Maintain a positive, energetic, and hospitality-focused attitude at all times. * Multi-task and balance between bar and dining room orders. * Be a team player, assisting other team members whenever needed to ensure guest satisfaction. * Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return. * Additional responsibilities as assigned. *Requirements* * Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8–10 hours per shift). * Ability to lift and carry up to 25–50 pounds. * Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive movements in a fast-paced environment. * Ability to work in varying conditions, including heat, cold, and noise. * Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. *Essential Functions:* * 1+ years of restaurant experience. * Hold a valid State-Mandated Food Handlers Certification, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards (where applicable). * Hold a valid State-Mandated Alcohol Handlers Certification, ensuring compliance with local regulatory authority health and safety standards (where applicable). * Point-of-Sale systems experience. * Strong communication and a passion for delivering world-class service at every touchpoint.
